I enjoy being involved in my community and I find many creative ways of doing this. One of my recent favorites is my kindness rock garden. I paint rocks with vibrant, uplifting pictures and quotes and invite visitors to “Please take one and know you are loved.”When I’m out running errands, I sometimes hide rocks here and there for people to find.
I have been told by many people how much joy it brings them and their family to walk by and view the colorful garden, and to take a rock to keep or re-hide for someone else to find. This is a fun way to bring a sense of community to my neighborhood and the businesses I frequent.
