Kindness Rocks Found and Traveling!

May 8, 2021

A local woman, Beverly, found a few of my painted kindness rocks and posted this in our group.

“Found these kindness rocks by my walking trail in Orange,CA. They are headed to a park in Irvine to share the kindness. I am now hooked, will be painting rocks to spread kindness. It’s all about the love🌸

I love seeing posts like this and knowing that my rocks have inspired someone and that now therocks are traveling to a new location for other people to find.

If you’re wondering about these rocks, here’s a little back story on each one.

The “Mom” rock is one of many simple rocks I painted for mother’s day, hoping that they might be found and given to the finder’s mother on Mother’s Day, or simply brighten someone’s day who is a mother.

The cat head rock…well…I love cats and I often paint cat heads just for fun.

The “I am wealth” rock was inspired by a book I’m reading called, “A Happy Pocketful of Money,” about affirmations and manifesting what one wants into their life. The writer recommended three daily affirmations, written in the present, using “I am” statements. The three affirmations are, “I am wealth.” “I am abundance.” “I am joy.”

If you haven’t read that book, and if you enjoy personal development topics, I highly recommend it.

Wherever you are, if you find a painted kindness rock, if there’s a label on the bottom instructing where to post pics, I hope you play along. For most people who paint rocks for fun, it’s really exciting seeing one of our rocks found and possibly moved and re-hidden. Join in the fun!
